Enterprises are trending towards deploying inexpensive Internet broadband links to enable bandwidth-intensive applications, but public transport links are “best-effort”, insecure and susceptible to damaging attacks. A cloud-delivered SD-WAN delivers ubiquitous security and enterprise-grade application performance independent of the transport medium, enabling a cost-effective solution for organizations increasingly moving data center workloads to IaaS, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS).
In this seminar, you learn ways to reduce operational complexity and optimize application performance to cloud data centers, including:
Parag heads the Product Management team at VeloCloud Networks, driving product and architectural strategy for Software Defined WAN and Enterprise Network Function Virtualization (NFV). Throughout his product management career he has honed the art of capturing trends early to drive innovation and holds multiple patents in the areas of WAN, IoT, Mobility and Cloud Architectures.
Prior to VeloCloud he worked at Cisco where he led the Product Management team and drove vision and strategy for Cisco's Next Generation Branch and Mobility architecture. His early career as a Solutions Architect at Cisco provided the foundation upon which he developed deep expertise across global Enterprise, Service Providers and Cloud Solutions. He holds an MS in Telecommunications from the University of Maryland College Park, and a BS in Electronics from the M.S University Baroda.
